Topography

The services rendered by bureau BrevetMarcService are the following:

- assistance in preparing and execution of the documents necessary for the registration of the topographies of integrated circuits;

- preparing and recordal of assignment agreements in respect of the topographies of integrated circuits, license agreements and other relevant law documents;

- overall tracking of the procedural deadlines;

- administrative and judicial protection of the interests of the holders of the intellectual property objects.

1. Requirements for the registration topographies of integrated circuits, including the necessary documents.

Information and documents which are necessary by the time of filing of the application:

a) the applicant’s and authors’ full name, domicile and address ;

b) name, function and date of creation of the integrated circuit;

c) technical documentation consisting of graphic materials and texts, including the information sufficient for identification of the topography and establishment of the electronic function of the integrated circuit that includes the topography;

d) two samples of the integrated circuit if it was produced and operated in commercial purpose.

Information and documents that must be filed within two months following  the filing date of the application with the Patent Office:

The Power of Attorney (notarization or legalization is not necessary) (активнаяссылка).The Power of Attorney must indicate the date, place, signature, the applicant’s full name and status of the signing official and the seal (stamp).

3. Procedure.

The formal examination – 1 month following the filing date of the application.

The substantive examination – 2 months following the end of the formal examination; thereafter the Decision of registration is issued;  

Issuance of the Certificate – 3 months following the date of notifying the applicant of the decision.

The publication of the data – 2 months following the date of issuance of the Certificate.

 

4. Length of the Procedure.

The period from filing of the application till obtaining the Certificate lasts approx.  6-10  months (provided there are no refusals, oppositions or Examiner’s Notifications).
